About WAYMIO
We're a small team dedicated to making the real world easier to navigate, so you can spend less time coordinating and more time connecting.
The idea for WAYMIO was born out of a frustrating group dinner. Six friends, three different cars, and endless text messages reading: “Where are you?”, “I can't find parking!”, and “ETA 5 mins.”
We realized that while we have amazing maps for navigating to a static location, we didn't have a good map for navigating to each other.
Existing solutions were either too invasive (requiring 24/7 background location tracking) or too cumbersome (requiring everyone to download a heavy app and create an account before they could even see the map).
Our Mission
To eliminate the friction of meeting up in the real world.
We built WAYMIO to be exactly what we wanted: a lightweight, web-first platform where you drop a pin, share a link, and instantly see everyone converging on the destination. No fuss, no tracking after the event ends.
We believe that road trips are better together, and getting together shouldn't be a chore.
